Conflict is easy. Conflict resolution, on the other hand, involves lifelong skill-building. In both leadership and non-leadership roles, it is vital to learn how to effectively push back or issue corrections. The mark of a quality leader is the ability to do that while maintaining that interpersonal relationship intact. Not an easy ordeal. The goal of this webinar is to add a tool to your toolbelt to work through conflict or provide constructive feedback: TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention). TBRI is a trauma-informed therapy practice constructed for adoptive parents of children who have experienced trauma in early childhood. The foundation of TBRI is that imposing authority through aggression will only manage to evoke a fear response. Imposing authority after having built a foundation of trust will allow you to push back in a way that the other person believes you have their best interest at heart. While in workforce development, one is rarely working with children, the tenets of TBRI serve as a fantastic foundation for building honest, trusting relationships in the workplace: 1- Build trust 2- Address needs 3- Push back Join us to learn a few more tips and tricks you can practice to turn conflict into a stronger relationship.

After attending this webinar attendees will be able to: Have a few tools to push back or issue corrections in a way that keeps your inter-personal relationships intact.
