As a teacher or trainer, you know what it means to multi-task. WIOA requirements, content standards, testing outcomes: you have a lot of expectations to meet. But how effectively are we integrating all these expectations into our classrooms and trainings? In this session you will learn to plan purposefully when working with adults, using multidisciplinary teaching strategies that contextualize information to help adults learn. Join us in this session as we learn to maximize time with contextualized, multidisciplinary approaches. After attending this webinar attendees will be able to:
[1] Participants can distinguish between multidisciplinary and silo approaches to planning content and teaching adults.
[2] Participants can identify and apply at least three strategies they can adopt to help them accomplish multiple instructional goals across multiple content areas in the same lesson or training session.
[3] Participants can identify and apply at least two strategies to improve their instruction and maximize class or training time.
