Illinois Workforce Summit 2025

We are excited to announce that our conference will be rebranded from the WIOA Summit to the Illinois Workforce Summit! This change reflects our commitment to inclusivity and collaboration within our workforce development system.

The new name emphasizes our focus on bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders, including employers and providers from state workforce programs such as the Climate Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) programs, to foster partnerships that drive workforce innovation in Illinois. By broadening our reach, we aim to create a dynamic environment where all voices can be heard and valued.

We believe this shift will encourage more organizations to participate, allowing for richer discussions and collaboration. Our goal is to equip all attendees with the tools and insights needed to strengthen our workforce and address the challenges we face together.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Illinois Workforce Summit and working collectively to shape the future of our workforce!

The Illinois Workforce Summit reflects the commitment to collaboration and the unified mission fostered by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) law. The Illinois Workforce Summit is intentionally designed to assist our local core partner staff and board members by providing practical service and system integration guidance. The WIOA Professional Development Committee represents the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the Illinois Department of Employment Securities, the Illinois Community College Board, and the Illinois Department of Human Services.
